Spring is finally here, and with it comes the perfect opportunity for a fresh start — especially for your hair. As we move away from the dryness of winter, it’s time to welcome softer textures, brighter tones, and effortless styles that feel light and renewed.

At Saints, we’ve been busy behind the scenes with training, new products, and exciting developments within the team so we can continue delivering the very best results for every client who sits in our chairs.

Here’s a little update on what we’ve been up to this season...

Education & Training at Saints

Education is at the heart of everything we do at Saints, and this season has been full of exciting opportunities for the team to develop their skills.

Nina and Cherelle recently travelled to the Wella Studio in London to complete the Ultimate Balayage Course, refining their techniques and mastering the latest approaches to creating beautifully blended colour.

We were also lucky to welcome Dylan from Wella into the salon for a one-to-one bespoke training session. These personalised sessions are invaluable, allowing us to focus on specific techniques, explore the latest products, and ensure we continue to offer our clients the very best results.

Next up, Vicky and Britney will be heading to the Wella Studios to expand their expertise in colour correction. This advanced training focuses on removing unwanted tones, correcting uneven colour, and tackling some of the more complex colour challenges that hair can present.

By continually refining our skills and learning the most up-to-date professional techniques, we’re able to confidently deliver beautiful, balanced results for every client.

Apprentice News

We’re incredibly proud of our apprentices Daisy and Eliza, who recently took part in their college hair show. This year’s creative theme was reusing and junk modelling, where students transformed recycled and unexpected materials into imaginative hair designs.

The creativity across the college was incredible, and both of our girls rose to the challenge, producing work they should be truly proud of.

Emma was honoured to be invited to judge the event, with judging carried out completely blind, and was blown away by the standard of creativity on display.

As Daisy and Eliza near the end of their training, they’re looking for models to help build confidence and strengthen their portfolios, particularly for highlights and shorter cuts. Services will be offered at a reduced rate as a thank you for supporting them.

Spring Haircare Refresh

As the seasons change, your hair routine should too. After winter, hair can often feel dry, heavy, or lacking shine, so spring is the perfect time to refresh your routine.

It’s very common to experience seasonal shedding during spring, but the right products can make a noticeable difference.
