Welcome to our latest salon newsletter!
We're excited to bring you all the latest news from the salon, including the trends we're loving right now. From beautiful lived-in Teddy Bear Brondes that offer effortless, low-maintenance colour, to the return of the classic bob in all its modern variations, we're seeing some fantastic looks making a comeback this season.
We're also proud to share updates on the continued professional development of our team. Recent training has included specialist Nioxin education and advanced learning through the Wella Colour Expert programme, helping us stay at the forefront of colour, hair care, and the latest industry techniques. We'll also be sharing insights from our recent Salon Culture Workshop, where we focused on strengthening our team values and ensuring every client enjoys the very best salon experience.
We have some exciting team news too. Two of our apprentices are approaching the final stages of their training and are on track to qualify this September, when they will officially become Graduate Stylists. This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to their hard work and commitment. As they move into their new roles, their service prices will increase to reflect their qualification and growing expertise.
But don't panic! We're delighted to welcome Sydney, our lovely first-year apprentice, to the salon. Over the coming months, Sydney will be looking for models as she develops her skills, providing a fantastic opportunity for clients to enjoy salon services at apprentice rates, while supporting the next generation of stylists.
Thank you for being part of our salon. We hope you enjoy catching up on everything that's been happening behind the scenes and find plenty of inspiration for your next visit.
THE BOB IS BACK

The bob is officially back, and it's more versatile than ever. Far from being a one-style-fits-all haircut, today's bob comes in a variety of lengths, shapes, and finishes to suit every face shape, hair type, and lifestyle. Whether you love a sleek, chin-length classic bob, a soft textured French bob, or a longer lob that can still be tied back, there's a version for everyone. With the right tailoring, a bob can enhance your features, add volume where needed, and create a look that's both stylish and easy to maintain. If you've been considering a change, a personalised bob could be the perfect refresh for the season.
EDUCATION GALORE
Education and continuous development remain at the heart of what we do, and it's been a busy few months for the team.
It all started with Emma and Lucy travelling to the Wella Studios to begin their prestigious Wella Colour Expert journey, further advancing their colour knowledge, technical expertise and consultation skills. As one of the industry's most respected colour programmes, Wella Colour Expert challenges stylists to deepen their understanding of colour science, formulation and bespoke colour creation, ensuring our clients continue to receive the highest standard of service and results.
From there, the learning continued across the salon, with our team embracing new education opportunities, refining their skills and bringing fresh ideas back to Saints to benefit every client who sits in our chair.
This commitment to ongoing education allows us to stay at the forefront of the industry while continuing to deliver the expert advice, personalised recommendations and beautiful hair that our clients know and trust us for.
Amy and Lynda attended the Wella Studios for specialist Nioxin training, learning all about scalp health, hair thinning concerns, and gaining valuable insight into how trichologists and hair stylists can work together to support clients with their hair and scalp goals.
As part of this training, they were fortunate to spend a full day with Sara from the Institute of Trichologists, who shared her wealth of knowledge and personal experience of moving from hairdressing into trichology. The session gave us a fascinating insight into the science behind hair and scalp conditions, helping us better understand when salon treatments can help and when specialist trichology support may be needed.
To round off an epic few weeks of education, Lynda took a solo trip to London to attend a three-day Salon Creative course at the flagship Toni & Guy Academy, exploring the latest cutting techniques, creative trends, and innovative approaches to modern hairdressing.
Keep an eye out for our new Nioxin treatment menu, launching soon in the salon. Whether you're experiencing thinning hair, scalp discomfort, excess oiliness, dryness, or simply want to improve the overall health of your hair and scalp, our team will be able to recommend tailored treatments and homecare solutions to suit your individual needs. The girls are excited to share their new knowledge and help you achieve healthier hair from the foundation up.

PROM HAIR
Prom season is almost here, and appointments fill up fast! If you're planning your perfect prom look, we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Our very own Prom Hair Queen, Lucy, is already busy creating beautiful styles for the upcoming season, so don't leave it until the last minute to secure your appointment.
If you're also considering a colour service before your prom, please remember that all colour appointments require a consultation and skin test beforehand. Allowing plenty of time for this ensures we can create your dream hair safely and gives us the opportunity to discuss the best colour options for your hair and desired look. Book early to make sure everything is in place well before your big day!
SHAPING OUR POSITIVE SALON CULTURE
If you follow us on social media, you'll have seen that we recently held a Team Culture Workshop. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to come together, strengthen our team bonds, and reinforce the core values that make Saints what it is. We spent time discussing how we can consistently uphold these values in everything we do, ensuring they are reflected across every level of the salon.
What does this mean for you? Simply put, no matter who you're booked in with, from our apprentices through to our Master Stylists, you can expect the same warm welcome, professional service, and exceptional client experience. This is incredibly important to us because we believe that every client deserves the very best experience at Saints, regardless of the service they choose or their budget. Our commitment is to make every visit feel special, and our shared values help us deliver that consistently, every single day.
OTHER SALON NEWS

We’re excited to share some personal news from the salon; If you haven’t already heard, Britney is expecting a baby and will be leaving us at the end of October to begin her maternity leave.
If you would like to see Britney before she goes, please don’t leave it too late to book, as her diary is filling up quickly. This will also give you the opportunity to plan ahead and ensure a smooth, seamless transition to another stylist for when she begins her time away.
We know many of you will want to wish her well, and we’re sure you’ll join us in sending Britney lots of love and excitement for this special new chapter.
CHILDRENS APPOINTMENT UPDATE (UNDER 12)
We have taken the decision to no longer take advance bookings for children’s hair appointments on a Saturday. Instead, these appointments will now be offered on the day only, subject to availability.
This change has been made to help manage salon capacity on our busiest day of the week, ensuring we can maintain a calm, relaxing environment for all of our clients.
We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this update, which helps us continue to provide the best possible experience for everyone visiting the salon. Appointments will remain available to book in advance from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.
